Jan 31 - Boyer GM Named Brighton Speedway Official Crate Motor Dealer

Boyer GM in Napanee has signed on as the official crate motor supplier of Brighton Speedway for the 2012 season.  “We would like to welcome Boyer GM into the family of Brighton Speedway sponsors and we look forward to working with them to not only increase their business but supporting our racers with an affordable engine programâ€� states track promoter Mark Rinaldi. “Keeping the cost down for our racers was the number one factor in choosing our supplier and working with a reputable dealer like Boyer made the decision that much easierâ€�.

Boyer GM Napanee, Parts Manager is a long time racer and supporter of Brighton Speedway.  Mike Freeman was part of the program when it was at another area dealership and saw firsthand the benefit of working with the racers.  “After selling engines to the racers we would have a lot of drivers come back for parts support and even to buy new vehicles on the relationships you build, it is definitely a win – win situation for us.â€� says Freeman.

Brighton Speedway Pro Stocks and Canadian Modifieds must buy there GM 602 Crate Motors from Boyer GM where the engines will be double sealed on site with Brighton Speedways technical Inspectors before the driver is even able to pick his motor up.  “Our sealing process and tech inspection of these crate motors is keeping everyone on a level playing field and with engine costs of just over $3000.00 almost anyone can afford them.â€�

Jan 26 - Brighton Speedway teams up with Brighton Recycling for the First Ever $10,000 to Win Summer Slam Enduro!

Brighton Speedway Management is in the mix of finalizing its 2012 schedule but just could not wait to make this exciting announcement!  On August 26^th, 2012 Brighton Speedway and Brighton Recycling will host the first ever Brighton Recycling $10,000.00 win Summer Slam 250 lap Endurance Race.  The event will be part of the 2012 Hotch's Auto Parts Enduro Series, a standalone 250 lap enduro that boasts an overall $15,000.00 purse and is expected to draw a huge turnout of participants and fans to watch this first time event.

The hitch for competitors will be that the Speedway will keep every car at the end of the race.  The purpose behind this new style race is to keep the high dollar "race cars" cars from entering an enduro and making it a race that any one has a chance to win!
